Bonnie Ruffin is the founder and president of Ruffin Consulting, Inc. She graduated with her Associate Degree in Paralegal Technology in 1991 from Pitt Community College in Greenville, North Carolina and began working with attorneys in 1990. She is a North Carolina Board Certified Paralegal. Mrs. Ruffin has continued her legal education through various legal and professional seminars and formal education since obtaining her paralegal degree in 1991.

She is a member of the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers, the North Carolina Bar Association - Legal Assistant Division, and the North Carolina Paralegal Association.

Mrs. Ruffin currently attends Barton College in Wilson, North Carolina and is progressing towards her Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. Mrs. Ruffin has worked with attorneys in North Carolina and Texas as a full-time staff paralegal. She has managed cases primarily regarding personal injury, including medical mal-practice suits. She has experience working on cases relating to auto accidents, train accidents, toxic tort, slip and fall, nursing home, medical-malpractice, contract disputes, trademark infringement, and other types of cases.
